Finally the long awaited Big Brother Naija - BBN 2018 edition which was scheduled to kick off  on 28th January 2018 finally got underway yesterday night with twenty housemates battling for the winning prize of N45 million as announced earlier by the organizer, M-Net West Africa.

The housemates would be staying at the Big Brother House for the next eleven weeks to entertain TV viewers across Africa and beyond.  Big Brother fans were earlier treated to nostalgic fun as housemates from the last edition gathered for a special reunion. Of note was the presence of the last winner of the edition in the person of Efe Ejeba whose popular quote - "Based on Logistics" won him admiration among many viewers and placed him in pole position to clinch the 2017 Big Brother Naija Edition.

Speaking on Big Brother Nigeria third edition, the General Manager, Sales and Marketing for MultiChoice Nigeria, Martin Mabutho, said, “Without a doubt, this promises to be the most exciting edition of the Big Brother franchise on the African continent.“The last edition of Big Brother Naija was incredibly successful and we see just how much the show continues to resonate with fans in Nigeria and around the continent.
