The home decor industry is predominately White-owned, but several Black-owned brands are bringing a fresh take to home decor with quality textiles and materials. Here are 5 Black-owned home decor brands to upgrade your space for a unique look.


Linoto

Founded in 2007 by Jason Evege, Linoto has luxurious real linen sheets that help you sleep better, linen napkins and tablecloths that enhance your dining and entertaining events, linen curtains that beautify your home, and linen spa towels that rejuvenate and refresh your bath and shower experience. “What sets Linoto apart is our bold color offerings, exceptional workmanship, and the fact that all of our products are proudly made at our workshop in Westchester County in New York,” said Evege on their website. “We are passionate and invested in everything we make.”

Designer  Jeanine Hays and her husband, Bryan Mason, began AphroChich in 2007 to focus on highlighting culture, design, arts, and more within the African American community. AphroChic originally started as a blog before quickly expanding into creative fields such as interior design, product design, fashion, and content creation. AphroChic has worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies including LOWE’s, The Home Depot, and IKEA. They have a number of pillows, poufs, rugs, wallpaper, and lighting.
