Courtney Noelle Face Mask


Owner and designer, Courtney Noelle, began a plus-sized fashion house specializing in luxury ready-to-wear and custom apparel. Each garment is ethically produced domestically and in-house. They have a variety of face masks to choose from, but their blue and green sequins mask (pictured below) is one of the most popular ones. You can also purchase it with black sequins, to ensure it goes with every outfit in your wardrobe.


 


Stuzo Clothing Fists Face Mask


Stuzo Clothing was founded in 2010 by Stoney Michelli & Uzo Ejikeme and is a Los Angeles-based, female-owned, gender-free clothing company designed to invoke thought and emotion. Celebrities such as comedians Gina Yashere and Tiffany Haddish, director Lena Waithe, and actress Jada Pinkett Smith have all adorned clothing items from Stuzo Clothing. Their masks are all about the empowerment of Black people and the LGBTQI+ community.


 


Royal Jelly Harlem Face Mask


The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, stepped out with Prince Harry in Los Angeles last year to volunteer at a Baby2Bay event in a seersucker striped face mask by Black-owned brand Royal Jelly Harlem. This fashion and lifestyle label has some additional celebrity fans including Taraji P Henson, Gabrielle Union, and Claire Danes.



 

Mckenzie Liautaud


In 2010,  Mckenzie Liautaud launched a capsule collection of men’s accessories. This included bespoke bow ties and hand-finished pocket squares, which used recycled fabrics embellished with hardware, crystals, and metal findings. He created sustainable face masks for the general public. To ensure medical-grade masks are available to healthcare workers, for every mask sold, Mckenzie Liautaud will donate a mask to first responders, essential workers, and those in need to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19.


 


Shami Oshun Nude Face Mask


Shami Oshun, a fashion designer based in California, built her brand in 2015 to provide unique and timeless designs to the world. In 2017, Shami started integrating 3D printing with fashion to push the boundaries of wearable art. Her nude face masks were all over Instagram in 2020, and have an Earth Tone face mask range as well as a reflective face mask.

Six/20 is a luxury sportswear brand for women who value style and comfort equally. These masks are made to order, hand-cut, and sewn.


 


Tia Adeola Ruffle Mask


From Nigeria, raised in London, and now based in New York, founder and designer Teni “Tia” Adeola graduated in 2019 from The New School with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Culture and Media. Tia created the brand from her dorm room during the summer of 2017, using her art history background and passion for the Renaissance period as inspiration. She aims to rewrite history through fashion, particularly for people of color. Her face masks are unique due to their ruffle trim and come in a variety of colors.
