March 16, 23, and 30 Do you like or want to learn how to quilt? Gloria Davis, an experienced quilter and member of the Sankofa Artisans Guild will be your teacher for this three-session workshop series held at Johnson House. Classes are held 10 am – 1 pm and it's an opportunity to honor a significant other on Mother’s Day. Students will use their own photos to create personal narratives relating to the photos to craft a cherished small quilt that will be suitable as a wall hanging, and a meaningful gift in time to celebrate Mother’s Day.
