How do you feel about being nominated? It’s amazing. Through my artistry, the most important factor is the impact I can have on my peers, not only through the words I write in my songs but also through recognitions I receive for the things I have accomplished. This is a true blessing in itself.

What is your inspiration? My inspiration for accomplishing so much so young is understanding that I have so much more on this journey to fulfill. I have family, friends and loved ones who are my motivation to positively make an impact on the world

What are you engaged in? I was the lead solo artist for the Season three theme song for the television series, Another Period, airing on Comedy Central. I was also featured in a Dell Computers Ad highlighting my first music single titled You Are Enough on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.

What are your plans?Truthfully, it is to have internal peace with whatever avenue I travel toward. As a recent graduate of Temple University in Criminal Justice and Spanish, and a music artist/educator, my goal is to love, have peace and never lose focus on my mission here on Earth – to serve others through my God-given gifts.

What does being African Diaspora mean to you? The Diaspora means the essence of original roots. From the culture and tradition, being in the Diaspora is the creation of character all across the globe.
