Stage It Up Youth Theater Group started in April 2018 as an after-school community program within the free libraries of Philadelphia, PA. With only a handful of children performing one original play in front of their friends and family members. Since then, we have grown to now having a professional theater school program. What makes us special and unique is that all plays performed are the director's original work and those who participated within the program. Our motto is to teach youth the importance of performing well on stage and in life, which means we incorporate life skills through drama, and these skills are transferable to everyday life. We will accomplish this by providing a positive, creative and safe environment for the youth to openly express themselves while watching their words come alive on stage.
