Black-Owned Travel Agencies

Nov 14, 2022 03:00PM ● By Anand Subramanian
After the year 2020, the world changed drastically for travelers. Booking a vacation may be stressful, especially considering the many factors, such as the high cost and many limitations. Many Black-owned travel agencies and online networks can assist Black tourists to feel more at ease in the "new normal." Look at these travel agencies run by people of color before making your next reservation.

Tastemakers Africa

If you're looking for a creative company shaking up in the tourism sector, go no further than Tastemakers Africa. Cheraé Robinson started it all intending to introduce tourists to the creative elite of Africa. Robinson and her on-the-ground curators know the best individuals to put you in touch with, whether you're interested in traditional culinary skills, witnessing the continent's rich history, or dining your way through Accra, Cape Town, Dakar, and Johannesburg. The uniqueness of Tastemakers lies in the fact that via these linkages, visitors may experience Africa in all its artistic splendor as it exists now. Cape Town, Accra, and Dakar are all home to Tastemakers Africa offices.

Dipaways

The history of Dipaways may be traced back to its creator, Chadricks Everette. Everette quit his marketing job after a long and fruitful career to see the world. He liked it so much that he decided to make a living at it, so Dipaways was established. Everette characterizes his firm as a Black-owned luxury travel brand specializing in custom-tailored itineraries for small groups and individual clients. When you plan a vacation with Dipaways, they'll take care of every detail, from reserving a hotel room to arranging for a professional photographer to document your trip for Instagram. However, Everette's true talent is creating one-of-a-kind adventures and connecting fascinating individuals, making every trip he plans unforgettable.
